We included on the crane a new slewing system offering endless slewing and a very high precision.

The second boom and extensions has been designed with a decagonal shape to maximise the structural rigidity of the entire boom pack, reduce deformation under load to almost zero, and make the entire structure of the boom pack very light.

The extension braking system offer precision and avoid load sway.

• Yes. We achieve an excellent weight/capacity ratio thanks to the high-level design (Including FEA analysis) and use of high tensile steels.

• The crane reaches more than 23 m. and this also allow a high of 26.8 m. This is the longest outreach in its category.

Thanks to the specific design and architecture of this crane, we reach this outreach with 8 hydraulic extensions, while other cranes in the market are shorter or even use higher number of extensions.

The Extension Braking System is based on a specific design introduced on the hydraulic extensions system. The bottom and the gland of the cylinder are designed to create a oil flow restriction in the last centimeter of the cylinder. This generate the speed reduction of the single cylinder while the next cylinder start moving.

Marine protection has been considered along all the project and covering structural components, cylinders, pins, bolts, nuts, fittings and pipes. The pipes are made of stainless steel, the structure has been treated with metallisation and the extensions with cataphoresis.
